Former Pakistan cricketer and ex-Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman, Ramiz Raja, provided his insights to the Pakistani team before their pivotal World Cup match against Australia, set to be held tomorrow at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. According to reports, Raja discussed team selection for the Australia match in an interview with a local sports show.

 Raja suggested, "I believe Pakistan should opt to chase. Considering their struggle to reach even 200 runs against India while batting first on a good pitch, they should consider chasing against Australia." He emphasized the favorable batting conditions in Bengaluru and advised Pakistan to strengthen their bowling lineup based on the pitch conditions. 

He also recommended prioritizing specialists over all-rounders if necessary. It's worth noting that Pakistan currently holds the fourth position in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 points table, with two wins and a loss against their arch-rivals India. 

Meanwhile, Australia secured their first victory in the tournament by defeating Sri Lanka by five wickets in their previous match, aiming to continue their winning streak in the upcoming crucial encounter against Pakistan.
